The hair perfume is designed to condition your hair and is formulated with a lower alcohol content than your regular fragrance that doesn’t cause damage to your hair by drying it out. The hair mists conditioning properties are absorbed into the hair which allows the scent to last longer.
How does the hair mist protect my hair?
Hair mists, or otherwise known as hair perfume, contain nourishing ingredients that are formulated to provide hydration and shine to your hair while protecting it from the harmful UV rays. When you run your fingers through your hair the perfume also aids as a detangler and can help reduce static.
How do I select a scent that doesn’t clash with my favourite perfume?
Unfortunately not all of our favourite fragrance brands have developed a hair mist. But if you’re lucky and your signature scent has, adding a few spritzes of the hair perfume to your perfectly styled hair can enhance that sweet essence longer. If you’re fragrance isn’t available its best to select a hair mist that has similar undertones that complement each other.
What’s the best method to use the hair mist for my hair?
Hair mist works best on clean hair, but if your wanting to use as a freshen up for your two day blow dry, try adding in some dry shampoo at the roots first.
If your wanting to protect your hair from the sun and add shine to your hairstyle, shake the bottle well to infuse the conditioning properties together and spray about 10cm away from your hair, misting over your head.
If your wanting a stronger scent, a more even application throughout your hair. You can sections of your hair, from underneath working up through your hair and lightly mist each section. Remember to still hold the bottle at least 10cm away from your head to provide a light application. Brush through or run your fingers through to loosen up the texture. This application will provide more hydration and shine, not to mention a scent that will last.
